Reports of a woman screaming for help led to the arrest of one man in Kamloops yesterday morning.
Kamloops RCMP were called to Double Tree by Hilton Hotel in the 300-block of St. Paul Street after reports of a woman screaming for help and something about a stabbing.
Police arrived around 10:15 a.m. yesterday, May 3, then searched two floors to find the source of the scream, since no room number was provided, according to a RCMP media release.
No stabbing occurred at the hotel, but after finding the source of the scream, police say one man was arrested for multiple offences. ....

More than 2.6 million people in Massachusetts have been fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, and over 70% of adult residents have received at least one dose, with more 85,000 doses a day being administered. But with appointments available around the state as supply has caught up with demand, Baker said Monday that his administration would begin to shift its strategy away from pushing vaccine through high-capacity mass vaccination sites at venues like Gillette Stadium.
