A sizeable portion of the multimillion-dollar jewels stolen during the 2019 Green Vault heist in Dresden have been recovered and returned.
The thieves grabbed 21 pieces of jewellery and other valuables from the collection of the Saxon ruler Augustus the Strong, encrusted with more than 4,300 individual diamonds, in the 2019 heist.
The defendants from the Remmo family are suspected of breaking into Dresden's Green Vault Museum in the early hours of November 25, 2019 and stealing 21 pieces of jewellery.
