F1 Miami GP live practice updates: Verstappen and Pérez prepare to lock horns again
The first practice of the 2023 Miami Grand Prix is over. Some familiar names showed great lap times, and one midfield team experienced the mixed bag of mixed bags. Mercedes showed well, as George Russell led practice with a 1:30.125 lap time – impressive considering he missed most of the practice replacing his steering. His teammate, Lewis Hamilton, followed him in pace, followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Last week's winner, Sergio Pérez, found himself down in P11. A lot of drivers had hiccups as they got reacquainted with the Miami circuit. ...
