James Duncan Tyler, 91, of McLeansboro, went to be with the Lord at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021. He was born February 13, 1930 in McLeansboro, the only son of James Monroe and Lurlin Gertrude (Duncan) Tyler. J.D. was a friend to all and never met a stranger. With a very kind heart he was full of life, enjoyed making people laugh, and always had a smile. J.D. was a proud Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Air Force.
