The University of Alabama in Huntsville, which had the only NCAA Division I men's hockey program in the southeast United States, is facing one obstacle in its goal to return to play.

"It definitely does suck as we've been training with just workouts and skating for nine to 10 months now," says Aidan Prueter, a Mississauga Steelheads forward from London, Ont. She said Connor loved every second he spent at the camp that’s dedicated to giving sick children and their siblings a place to escape what they’re going through. “He came back smiling like you wouldn’t believe. I mean, he always smiled, but grinning ear to ear. Constantly talking about things and people and what he did,” said Albert. And even when Connor’s camp session was complete, he continued to wear his green cabin camp bracelet proudly. “He was determined to wear that until he went next year and get his next color.
