Police on Saturday night charged New Yorkers through the streets of Greenwich Village as a 10pm curfew was introduced in Washington Square Park, to curb anti-social behavior.
Many child injuries, including dog bites, can be attributed to lack of proper adult supervision, a spokesperson for the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital said.
A new 10 p.m. curfew is now in effect, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, at Washington Square Park.
World War II Remains of Hamilton Man Identified Later this year, Army Private Wayne M. Evans will be coming home. Evans died in a Japanese prisoner of war camp during World War II. The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) conclusively identified his remains last year.
