Bridgeport man jailed for striking and injuring bicyclist while driving with inoperable brakes
Albert R. Crawford IV, 51, of the unit block of Center Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 11½ to 23 months in jail, a maximum county sentence, after he pleaded guilty to a felony charge of aggravated assault by vehicle and summary charges of duties at stop sign and operating a vehicle without insurance in connection with a Nov. 26, 2021, crash that seriously injured Wayne Farrell, who also lived in the borough and knew Crawford.
