Tuesday night, Sedalia Police observed an individual riding a bike on West Main Street without a light in the area of West Main Street and Winchester Drive. During the search, Officers located a grinder and a glass pipe used to smoke methamphetamine. Gonzalo J. A 27-year-old Smithville man is facing multiple charges after a high-speed pursuit that started in Cooper County and went through Saline County on August 2. A report from Missouri State Highway Patrol Trooper says there was a report of a stolen Chevrolet Equinox from the Eagle Stop gas station in Boonville. The driver of the stolen vehicle is alleged to have passed three vehicles by using the shoulder of the interstate, and the pursuit reached a speed of 109 mph.
