BADLY needed new heating is on it way for residents of Port Glasgow's three town centre high flats. Councillor Drew McKenzie says housing bosses have notified him that the current heating systems at Heather, Rowan and Thistle Courts will be replaced during 2021/22. It follows complaints highlighted in the Tele from tenants over outdated storage heaters and draughty windows. Residents had also handed in a petition to River Clyde Homes in protest.
