Oscar (4) walks 5km to raise over €6,000 for charity
Torrential rain wasn't going to stop Oscar Travers Gamble from doing a 5km walk from his home to his grandparent's house to raise funds for Williams Syndrome Ireland and Heart Children Ireland. The four year old, who was born with Williams Syndrome, a rare chromosomal condition affecting 1 in 20,000 people, was determined that he would do the walk on Valentine's Day despite heavy downpours. 'We were lucky that it cleared in the afternoon and we only got caught in one shower,' proud mum Eileen Gamble said.
