The villages of Hamburg and Williamsville and Town of Aurora are the latest Western New York municipalities deemed climate smart by New York State, opening doors for new funding streams
Williamsville Mayor Christine Hunt, who took office this month, intends to replace Village Administrator Judith Kindron, who also serves as clerk-treasurer.
"Sometimes in politics, things can get heated and discussions can get passionate. And I would just say that not everybody is cut out for that," Rogers said.
In a split decision, the deputy mayor will sign the stipulation from the county and the Village Board will pay the $300 fine.
Village board members voted 3-2 to appoint attorney Todd Aldinger to represent them.
