At age 59 with no qualifying medical conditions, Allard, a high school history teacher, isn’t yet eligible for the coveted shots. “There has been a significant push to open schools in person by both President Biden and our governor,” said Allard, whose school is in a hybrid teaching model. “If we want to achieve that goal, why aren’t teachers eligible for vaccines? ....
