The Koel Gallery has brought together artists from Scotland and Pakistan to discover in their work the refractions of a shared and evocative vision of the elemental power, rhythm and continuity of natural forces.
The participants of the exhibition titled ‘Landscape of Memory’ are Ade Adesina, Farrukh Adnan, Naiza Khan, Marian Leven, Zara Mahmood, Michele Marcoux, Oliver Reed, Usman Saeed, Gill Tyson and Sohail Zuberi. Curated by Sana Bilgrami and Maliha Peracha, the show is running at the gallery until December 29.
According to the Koel Gallery, this exhibition reveals how borders can be surpassed through the language of mark-making, and how artworks can speak to each other by embracing, subverting and transcending histories. The artists explore the complex and fragile ecological relationships between nature and humanity. ....

People stand up and say, this is not what the country s about and there s a real simple way to do it. we teach our law students, flip the parties. pretend, as george says, it s a democratic president and a republican congress. would you seek impeachment then? and we all can do this in our minds. this isn t hard. and i think more and more people will do it, set by george s example. so, i think it says something pretty profound about our constitution, that when you have two people like us who disagree on so much but can say, hey, there are some core values here. and what we re going to see for the next two months implicate those core values, a president who s putting himself over the interests of the american people. i think people can come together on that. george, i think you re so right to call attention to the oath. it s so basic and elemental. in this case, the oath of office preceded a speech known thereafter as american carnage. but we are alone amongst ....

david co-authored the piece today. profit margins are down that well it seems that while political trouble was kind of elemental in this situation, trouble with the brand, the trademark, the name d.o.p.t. is something else entirely. i think when he entered the white house, he saw the ability to keep his relationship with his businesses as a plus. so he and his children decided not to divorce themselves. what could go wrong? they could only enhance things. what they ve discovered is this broad, public reaction against trump has hurt their brand in places like chicago and washington and new york. ....

We know that hotel in washington he is so proud of has been going on the soft market for somebody to take over the lease. it seems that while political trouble was kind of elemental in this administration, trouble with the brand, the trademark, the name donald trump is something else entirely. well, you know, i think when he entered the white house, he saw the ability to keep his relationship with his businesses as a plus. so he and his children decided not to divorce themselves. what could go wrong? what could go wrong? it could only enhance things. what they ve discovered is this broad public reaction against trump has hurt their brand in places like chicago and washington and new york, which is and florida. those are largely where the bulk of his domestic businesses are based and people aren t patronizing his businesses. i think that s one thing he s dealing with. he s also dealing with the fact that i think trump and his children probably don t want to ....
