Tonight, inside this bay area walgreens. Good evening, im elizabeth cook. Im ken bastida. Now at 11 00, breaking news, gunfire erupts inside this bay area walgreens. Im elizabeth cook. Ken bastida. Betty yu is live on the scene for us. Reporter it is still a very active crime scene at this hour. Police have the streets near first and santa clara roped off for this shooting investigation. It happened inside that walgreens behind me. Investigators tell us this started as an attempted robbery. Take a look at this video. First responders working on the person who was shot presumably the attempted robber. San jose police tell us that he was shot by the store Security Guard and suffered at least one gunshot wound. That man was rushed to the hospital with life threatening injuries and it appears there were several people around the store at the time of the shooting around 8 30. And there were several witnesses that do say they witnessed ....
