Ember Technologies Inc. has named Jim Rowan as chief executive of its consumer business effective Tuesday. Rowan is a former chief executive of Dyson Ltd., the British vacuum and appliance manufacturer with U.S. headquarters in Chicago. In his new role, Rowan will work with the leadership team of the Westlake Village company that makes temperature-controlled coffee mugs to further expand Ember’s presence in Asia and Europe as well as continue to grow the brand’s U.S. sales and distribution channels.
