Ms. Emily Pickrell is a Global Energy Scholar at the University of Houston where she is focused on energy transitions and its environmental and economic impacts on Latin America. She will discuss the state of substantial lithium resources in Latin America versus the response of individual countries regarding nationalism, environmental concerns, and the lure of new economic opportunity.
