Kano Pillars went ahead on resumption (46th minute) through substitute Nwagwa Nyima, who capitalised on the home side’s poor defending to score. NAN reports that Nasarawa United failed to equalize in most of that half but when it looked like they were going to lose their first match of the season, Adamu Hassan, latching on a pass from Abubakar Abdullahi, slotted the ball into the net for the home team’s needed equalizer in the 83rd minute to make it 1-1 till the final whistle. ....
