Source: Employment New Zealand The Employment Relations Authority (ERA) has ordered Madhan Singh Bisht, director of Kiran Cuisine Limited, operating a restaurant in Auckland to pay full arrears of $75,026.18. The arrears included unpaid minimum wage, leave, and holiday pay to a former employee, as well as a further $50,000 in penalties.  The Labour Inspectorate took the case to the ERA following a complaint from a former employee who worked at the restaurant as a chef.  The Inspectorate’s investigation found the employee consistently worked an average of between 60 and 70 hours each week ...
