For this year’s renowned hill climb event, the British automaker’s main goal is to break the Time Attack 1 record held by Porsche. To achieve this, it has developed a monstrous version of its Continental GT3 and recruited a three-time Pikes Peak champion for the job.

In recent weeks, the Continental GT3 Pikes Peak has received a new livery and was put through a series of tests before the record-breaking attempt. The car was taken to Willow Springs for chassis fine-tuning, and high-altitude runs were then performed in Aspen, Colorado.
Meanwhile, a development engine has been thoroughly tested to analyze the performance of the renewable fuel that will be used in next month’s hill climb. Co-developed by ExxonMobil and Porsche, this innovative fuel will be available in the near future to conservative owners who don’t want to part ways with their luxurious gas-guzzling Bentleys in favor of soon-to-be fully electrified models.

While the carmaker is still testing blends of fuel, early estimates predict a whopping 85 percent reduction of greenhouse gasses over regular gasoline

It is powered by a modified 4.0-litre turbo V8 engine with short side-exit exhausts.
Gets an extreme aero package, including a large rear wing, prominent diffuser, and a two-plane front splitter.
Rhys Millen will be piloting this beast around the 20km hill climb.
The record run will take place at the 99th edition of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 27.
Bentley has had good memories at Pikes Peak, holding the production SUV record since 2018 with the Bentayga W12. It also holds the outright production car record since 2019 set by the Continental GT. Well, the carmaker’s next target is the Time Attack 1 record of 9 minutes and 36 seconds, and for that, it has unleashed the Continental GT3 Pikes Peak, which is based on the Continental GT3 race car.
