captions by vitac www.vitac.com good morning our starting point today, tropical storm beryl washing away holiday plans in northern florida and georgia. it made landfall overnight with drenching rains and driving winds. the hurricane force winds have died down a bit but the beryl will be a super soaker as they call it. rob marciano is tracking the storm at the severe weather center, good morning. not usual to have one but two tropical storms into the month of may, not even into the beginning of hurricane season yesterday. 70-mile-an-hour winds last night at one point, this close to being a hurricane. there s the radar picture showing you the center distinctly 50 miles to the west of jacksonville florida and all the rain and thunderstorms rotating off the ocean so this will be slow to weaken and it will weaken as far as the winds are concerned but the rainfall becomes the bigger player through time. they could use the rain but don t want it all at one point. thi ....

veteran s memorial. rene is standing by. reporter: good morning. we are here at the u.s. marine corps war memorial. we have been here all morning. it s a stunning memorial to see in person. we have seen parents bringing their children here, and we have seen veterans themselves here, just taking a moment, a moment of silence to remember or remember those who have fallen and who have died for our country, and this memorial is right outside of arlington national cemetery, and we spoke to a couple of people today where they were headed from here and headed over to the cemetery for today s ceremony. we do expect momentarily that the president will arrive there at arlington national cemetery along with the first lady. he laid that wreath, and we were told around 11:00 this morning, and that will be followed by remarks as well. but today is not the only day for the celebrations. we have seen them throughout the weekend. we had the rolling thunder that has been here in the na ....
lead analysts at morgan stanley, the main underwriter for the facebook ipo, received privileged information about the company, information that they didn t share with retail investors. finra, the financial industry regulation authority, regulatory authority, the u.s. senate banking committee, and the commonwealth of massachusetts have all announced probes into the matter, and that was quickly followed by a lawsuit filed by some investors against facebook and its ceo, mark zuckerberg, alleging that both withheld material information from investors during the ipo process. now, specifically, they re talking about forecasts that revenue would be lower in 2012. facebook tells cnn, by the way, that the lawsuit is without merit. ron gefner is a former s.e.c. investment attorney. henry blodgett is the ceo of business insider, a website. back in 2003, henry handled a civil charge with the s.e.c., banned from the securities industry. he s a good friend of our show. and i say this ....
