The Department of Revenue Intelligence has seized about 12 kilograms of heroin worth Rs 78 crore from two women travellers at Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Based on specific Intelligence, officers of DRI intercepted two female passengers from Uganda and Zambia at RGIA, and recovered about 12 kg of narcotics suspected to be heroin from their checked-in baggage. Both drug peddlers were arrested and booked under the provisions of NDPS Act 1985.
