US Museum Hands Looted Artefacts Back To Ghana
The returned objects include gold jewelry, an elephant tail whisk and an ornamental chair originally taken from the Asante Kingdom by British forces during a 19th-century conflict.
Museum officials traveled to the city of Kumasi to return the objects on the 150th anniversary of their seizure
