Clarke to leave RUAS to join the Automart based in Portadown (1973)
Mr Tom Clarke, the popular young assistant with the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society, had announced his intention to leave Balmoral to join Mr George Allen, in the “major development” of Automart’s extensive auctioneering business at Portadown, reported Farming Life during this week in June 1973.
