It is do-or-die time in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague! For the first time, three playoff series have reached Game 5 and we are set for a Super Tuesday full of thrills, intensity, great plays and outstanding performances in make-or-break situations. Only one team, CSKA Moscow, has made it to the Final Four and is in for a treat, as all of its players can relax at home and watch the show to see which other teams join the Russian powerhouse in Cologne. Most of CSKA's foreign players live close to each other, so I am sure some of them will get together to see this. Good luck to all six teams - Anadolu Efes Istanbul, Real Madrid, AX Armani Exchange Milan, FC Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Zenit St Petersburg - on Tuesday night, and shout out to Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul for a great season.

The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs enter its second week with three teams - CSKA Moscow, Anadolu Efes Istanbul and AX Armani Exchange Milan - one win away from making it to the Final Four. No team has rallied from a 0-2 deficit in playoff history, but what happened in the past doesn't give you any sort of advantage and the three teams in do-or-die situations - Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul, Real Madrid and FC Bayern Munich - play at home in Game 3. Efes has remarkably won all of its eight quarters against Real until now. Milan needed a last-second basket by Zach Leday to win Game 1 and CSKA trailed late in both games against Fenerbahce, but registered two good-as-gold victories. In the other series, Zenit St Petersburg stole the home-court advantage from FC Barcelona and became the first eighth-seeded team to win Game 1 of the playoffs. Games 3 and 4 at Sibur Arena promise to be truly exciting.

Here comes the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Playoffs! It has been a long wait, longer than ever, but the playoffs are back and we are ready to watch some of the best basketball that the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague has to offer. And in keeping with that good news, EuroLeague Fantasy Challenge continues until the end of the season! There are three additional prizes for the teams with the most fantasy points in the playoffs and the Final Four. The biggest one is a player jersey of the winner's choice, an official Spalding EuroLeague basketball and a €100 KICKZ merchandise voucher. We will have four great playoff series, really hard to predict, and I am sure we will see some surprises, too. So get ready!

The Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Regular Season is nearing its finish and the tightness in the race to reach the playoffs is unprecedented. There were some important results in Round 29. FC Barcelona became the first team to reach the playoffs after it beat Real Madrid 76-81 in El Clasico. Barcelona needed to win and for either Fenerbahce Beko Istanbul or Zalgiris Kaunas to lose the next day; both teams lost, against Valencia Basket and Anadolu Efes Istanbul, respectively. In another important showdown atop the standings, AX Armani Exchange Milan defeated CSKA Moscow 76-84 in the Russian capital. Milan is closer than ever to making its return to the playoffs and is deep in the fight to have the home-court advantage in its series. ALBA Berlin downed LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne at the Astroballe and four other teams - Panathinaikos OPAP Athens, Olympiacos Piraeus, Crvena Zvezda mts Belgrade, and TD Systems Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz - won at home. As always, teams with little or virtually no chance to reach the playoffs are going to keep fighting for wins. No-one gives up, and that makes the EuroLeague the most exciting basketball competition in the world.
