Wed, 05/12/2021 - 8:04pm sarahp LAWRENCE “CHIP” GAMACHE MIDDLEBURY — Lawrence “Chip” Gamache, age 64, died peacefully at home in Middlebury, Vt., on May 5, 2021, following a valiant battle with cancer. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., the son of Lawrence and Kathryn Gamache. Chip attended schools in South Plainfield, N.J. He joined the U.S. Navy in 1974, serving with the Seabees and on the super carrier U.S.S. Nimitz. He was employed by Standard Register, and was self-employed in various aspects of construction for many years. He was a lifelong fan of the N....
