A judge Friday sentenced Javier Fernando Hernandez, 26, to 16 and a half years in federal prison for a racketeering conspiracy and the fatal shooting of Kyle Polk in 2015. Hernandez cooperated with the government and testified against two veteran Hoover gang members on trial last fall.
