CONCORD — On a recent Saturday morning, a dedicated group of advocates gathered at Frank Liske Park for a singular goal: to raise awareness about mental health.

CONCORD — Cabarrus County staff is working to ensure the new Regional Behavioral Health Center is operational by its 2026 opening date. That means startup funds are necessary.

It will address the barriers many young people face when they are experiencing a mental health or psychiatric emergency.
