VinFast Trading and Service Ltd Co, a subsidiary automaker of conglomerate Vingroup, reported on March 14 that it delivered 774 electric vehicles (EVs) to customers in the first two months of 2023.
Vietnamese electrical carmakers VinFast on March 1 delivered its first 45 VF 8 City Edition electric SUVs to US customers at nine California showrooms, marking its official entry into the US automobile market.

VinFast, the auto arm of Vingroup, has submitted documents for its first initial public offering on the Nasdaq. Kent Wong, legal committee chairman at the European Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam, discussed with VIR’s Luu Huong the feasibility and challenges of Vietnamese corporations when it comes to overseas listing.
“The parties discussed potential cooperation between the Vietnamese company with OAO Belkommunmash with a focus on interaction in the production of electric buses,” the embassy said. The parties also looked into possible areas of cooperation between the Vietnamese company and a number of other Belarusian manufacturers.
Early this month, the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) announced a new draft decree providing a controlled testing mechanism (sandbox) for fintech activities in the banking industry. This is the second draft that has been built to gather public opinions for this sector.
