Type 2 diabetes mellitus (DM), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), and obesity represent four large and growing patient populations. A great deal of scientific and clinical knowledge has been developed for them individually, and significant advancements made.
