SAUK PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) -- People were invited to celebrate the return of the bald eagle at the 38th annual Bald Eagle Watching Days.
Ferry Bluff Eagle Council volunteers have been keeping track of bald eagles that winter in the Prairie du Sac area along the Wisconsin River since 1988. The group not only provides valuable data to state and federal wildlife agencies, but its work has also cultivated public awareness and community buy-in that having eagles "in the neighborhood" matters.
