Pizzeria Salvy, the new Marc Vetri new restaurant opening Wednesday, May 31 at the Comcast Technology Center in Philadelphia, is named after the chef's father, Salvatore, who will serve his signature meatballs. The pizza shop will serve speciality pizzas, salads, seasonal vegetables and alcoholic drinks. Pizzeria Salvy marks Vetri's return to the pizza-making business. He sold the Pizzeria Vetri chain to URBN in 2015.

The restaurant is a tribute to Vetri's father, Salvatore, and marks his return to the pizza business after a years-long hiatus. The new restaurant is slated to open this spring.
