The spirit of solidarity through music has been a beacon of hope and activism throughout history. Just as the "To Gaza, from Dhaka – Artists Against Genocide" concert unites Bangladeshi musicians to aid Gaza, it bears a striking resemblance to another historic musical event: the "Concert for Bangladesh."
The young artiste took the challenge to organise a concert in support of Gaza’s hand-in-hand with artist Morshed Mishu, who was already planning to make graffiti to speak up for the oppressed people of Gaza.
Bangladeshi artistes and humanitarian activists have come together under the platform Artists Against Genocide to protest the ongoing genocide in Gaza. This fundraising concert titled “To Gaza From Dhaka” will be held at the Hatirjheel Amphitheater on November 24.
The festival boasts an assortment of captivating events, such as the highly anticipated cosplay competition, engaging comic book exhibitions, immersive experience zones, dedicated kids' zones, exceptional performances from hip hop and K-pop, thrilling gaming activities, tantalizing food zones, and thought-provoking panel discussions.
Over the course of the three-day event, a total of 30 bands will take the stage at Dhaka Summer Con 2023. The first day, July 13, will feature performances from eight exclusive bands, including Old Dhaka Diaries, Firoze Jong, Indalo, Bangla Five, Level Five, Owned, Odd Signature, and Dads in the Park.
