On Dec. 9-11, Philadelphia will host winter festivals, a hot chocolate crawl and a rare book fair. The Philadelphia Film Society also will run a special sing-along screening of the Beyoncé concert film 'Renaissance' at PFS Bourse.

Fishtown Freeze returns Saturday, Dec. 10, with more than 15 ice sculptures displayed outside neighborhood businesses. Live carvings are set to take place outside the Lutheran Settlement House, Garage Fishtown and the Fillmore. The event lasts from noon to 6 p.m. Fishtown shops will offer discounts and bars will host a holiday cocktail crawl.
