House seems like a more likely alternative than a very conservative immigration bill working its way through. That seems unlikely. The breaking news is the federal government is expected now to reopen in a few hours. For how long is the question. Senate democrats joined the majority to pass the spending bill. 8118, theyre going to reopen from the senate point of view. That bill now goes to the house where it is expected to pass soon.
