Apr 19, 2021 WELLSBURG — The West Virginia Department of Transportation and Flatiron Construction have, again, pushed back the planned float and installation of the new Wellsburg Bridge structure. The movement of the completed main structure is now scheduled to begin at 8 a.m., Friday, with the lifting of the structure onto a series of piers taking place Saturday. Reconstructed Truslow Road bridge to open April 9 [VDOT] Route 652 (Truslow Road) in Stafford County is expected to reopen to traffic at a new interstate overpass on April 9, weather permitting. Construction is nearing completion on the new overpass, which is being replaced as part of the 95 Express Lanes Fredericksburg Extension project.
