Police Invite Lawyer For Asking President Buhari To Sack 'Unqualified' NEXIM Bank Director, Okotete Over Alleged Criminal Activities

Aare Oladotun Hassan, Executive Director of Lawyers For Justice Reform, a group of legal practitioners, has been invited by the police for alleged defamation of Stella Okotete, Executive Director (Business Development) at the Nigeria Export-Import (NEXIM) Bank. Hassan is also the Secretary of the Epe Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association. The group had demanded the sacking of Okotete over alleged fraud. SaharaReporters earlier reported how the NEXIM bank ED was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari despite issues regarding her qualification.

Top Nigerian Police Officers Indicted In Land Grabbing Scandal In Lagos Community

Residents of Parapo communities in Lekki area of Lagos State have accused some top police officers of hijacking their communities’ land. In 2006, when Lekki Free Zone was created, about three communities were affected identified as Abomiti, Yeguda and Eyin-Osa.
