The Force Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force has said that the policemen who were seen in a viral video brutalising and stripping a man identified as Samsudeen Oluwo, on the orders of Saheed Mosadoluwa, aka Ibile, accused of being a land-grabber in Lagos State, have been identified and withdrawn.
Two legal practitioners, Yakubu Eleto, Esq and Shamsudeen Olaleye, Esq representing Saheed Mosadoluwa, aka Ibile, accused of being a land-grabber, have claimed that the man, Samsudeen Oluwo who was filmed in a viral video stripped naked and beaten by thugs and police orderlies for alleged land grabber is a hired assassin. In a statement jointly signed by the two legal practitioners and made available to SaharaReporters, it was alleged that Samshudeen Oluwo is a hired assassin working for Babatunde Olalere (BOG) and Murphy Adebare of Topaz Gardens.

A suspected landgrabber, Murphy Adebare popularly known as Topaz, has been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force after three months of evading arrest. A senior police officer in Lagos, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Adebare will be arraigned on Wednesday in court over charges of land-grabbing, fraud, forgery and criminal trespass. The suspect's arrest follows an investigation into allegations made by a committee established by the Lagos State Government to manage land acquired for the Lekki Free Trade project.
