NEW MIAMI, Ohio — A Hamilton man has been arrested and charged in connection with a crash that badly hurt a New Miami firefighter.
The New Miami Fire Department said firefighter Dustin "Dusty" Cook was involved in a head-on crash in August 2020. As a result of the crash, Cook underwent surgery to remove his spleen and fix his broken legs, and he was briefly placed on a ventilator.
Cook was released from Fort Hamilton Hospital in September.
