Among adults who are unsure about getting vaccinated, 36% said they are concerned about potential side effects, while 29% said they are worried that the vaccines moved too quickly through clinical trials. Mothers, adults under 45 years old who earn less than $50,000 annually and Republicans and Black adults without college degrees are some of the groups most likely to say they’re unsure or unwilling to get vaccinated. ....

Representing less than one-third of the 74 million people who are now fully vaccinated in the United States, communities of color are twice as likely to die from Covid-19 and three times as likely to be hospitalized as white Americans.
