finally tonight, a homecoming at last for a sailor who died in a brazen attack eight decades ago. here's kevin tibbles >> reporter: just a kid from wisconsin, lost, it was thought, forever on december 7th, 1941, in the japanese attack on pearl harbor frank nicoles, jr., nicknamed junie, 23 years old, lived at 807 porter avenue, eau claire, missing and presumed dead after the "uss oklahoma" went down. >> he attempted to jump into the sea from the bridge, and then his body disappeared. >> reporter: 429 sailors lost their lives that day junie's remains along with hundreds of others were never identified until now
