Frank Mitchell: This weekend's match could be the ticket back to the big time for Down GAA
I used to admire the roadmen as I was waddled my way to primary school. They took pride in their work as they kept the hedges cut, the drains clear and the verges neat. Sadly, they were all put out to grass long before I finished my education, but when in P3 and old enough to trek along unsupervised, I’d linger with them and wish I was on the spade or the shovel with no need for lessons or the like.
