Seven awards — including one posthumous honor, given to former mayor and councilman Jim Johnson — were presented on Thursday, April 4 at The Cactus in Perham.
Nancy Marie Staheli, (Rorvick), 85, completed her life on this earth March 22, 2024. She was a nurse, mid-wife, adventurer and sailor. A lover of nature and wilderness. Babies, dogs and books were her passion.
“There is only one Howie. He is so multifaceted and complex yet so simple. That’s what I’ll remember about Howie for the rest of my life,” friend Kevin Tumberg said.
