Freight industry booking platform Freightos has launched a partnership with Virgin Atlantic Cargo, combining Virgin’s network with Freightos’ WebCargo offering.

China Southern Airlines' cargo subsidiary, China Southern Air Logistics, is the first Chinese air cargo provider to partner with Freightos' WebCargo online platform to utilize real-time rates, capacity and bookings for Chinese imports. "Digital transformation has become key to staying ahead,” Changqing Tao, executive vice president of China Southern Air Logistics, said in a statement.

Freightos’ WebCargo digital booking platform now offers digital payments for forwarders and airlines in the U.S., U.K. and Europe. WebCargo previously only allowed digital bookings between forwarders and carriers but now can process real-time rates and payments directly, according to today’s release.
