Team Canada Website Clemson, S.C. – Former Clemson standout Kailen Sheridan has been named to the Canadian National Team’s roster prior to the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand, it was announced earlier this summer. Sheridan and Team Canada begin play in the World Cup on Thursday evening, July 20. A native of Pickering, Ontario, Canada, Sheridan won an Olympic Gold Medal with Team Canada in 2021, and this will be her second World Cup appearance.
