The Fulton County Soil and Water recently sponsored the Fulton County Soil Judging Contest. The water technicians prepared pits and conducted the contest.
Thomas A. Herr, Jr. and Jennifer M. Herr in Fulton County have become the sixth Ohio farm owners to join the Farmland Preservation Program this year.
On Thursday, April 27, Pettisville FFA members helped the Fulton County Soil and Water District by packing Blue Spruce seedlings that were given to first graders from nine schools in the area. manich@leaderherald.com JOHNSTOWN — The Fulton County Board of Supervisors recently authorized Sheriff Richard Giardino to commence the process for state accreditation of his department’s Road Patrol Division. The sheriff’s office division would be accredited through the state Department of Criminal Justice Services. Giardino has requested to commence the application for accreditation, which stems from the newly-adopted Fulton County Police Reform and Reinvention Plan.
