ROCHESTER, Minn. - The City of Rochester bought the old Mr. Muffler building from the Olmsted County to turn the property into housing as part of the city's redevelopment plan.
A proposed $450,000 payment for Olmsted County’s share of a former muffler shop could make way for city of Rochester development plans.
A framework plan and additional parking spaces were approved at the meeting on Monday.
Potential development will likely require partnership with private developer who shares city vision for land.
