Here are the events you can celebrate AAPI month at in North Texas.

Thursday, April 11, 2024  At 5pm, the Amon Carter Museum of American Art (3501 Camp Bowie Blvd, Fort Worth, 817-738-1933) hosts an evening of cocktails, conversations, and live music. The theme of this month’s Second Thursdays at the Carter is Mysteries & Motives. Pick up your complimentary drink in the atrium

In preparation for this installment of Crosstown Sounds, I asked my ever-widening circle of local music contacts to tell me where they were playing now thru April and to send pictures of delicious food finds from gig locations that serve grub. Be careful what you wish for. (Looking at you, Dick Beldings.)

With this being our annual Zest edition, I thought I’d generously sprinkle this week’s Night & Day section with a good measure of spring foodie/boozie events happening now thru April. Will there be eats and drinks at all the clam bakes below, or is this a clever way for me to contribute to this special issue?
