India's gold demand is expected to be subdued in the first quarter of 2024 due to lower jewelry sales. However, annual demand is anticipated to rise as consumers adjust to higher prices. India’s Gold Consumption: Demand for gold jewellery in 2023 dropped by 6% to 562.3 tonnes compared with 2022, WGC data released on Wednesday showed.
