Stories of survival. Hello everyone im Frank Somerville and welcome to a second look. It was 20 years last month in 1995. Outside fires ranged across the equivalent of 70 u. S. City blocks. Buildings were in ruin, cars thrown from collapsed highways. More than 6,400 people were killed. 30,000 others were injured. Randy shandobil filed this report the day after that earthquake hit as the fires were still burning. The fires had raged all through the night. Set by broken gas mains.
