Men charged with murder in fungal meningitis outbreak ask state Supreme Court to intervene
Nearly ten years after the 2012 fungal mengingitis outbreak sickened more than 750 people and killed 64 people nationally, the two men charged with the second-degree murder of 11 Michiganders are asking the Michigan Supreme Court to intervene in their case. The 2012 outbreak killed 19 people in Michigan, according to the CDC.
